What Part of the Foot to Teep With? (Muay Thai Front Kick)

When throwing the teep (aka “Front Push Kick” or “Foot Jab” in #MuayThai), should you strike with the ball of the foot, the heel, the arch, or knife edge? The answer is: yes! It all depends on the target, the trajectory, and the goal of your kick. Some things to consider: 1. Striking with Ball of the Foot (0:58) 2. Striking with a Flat-Foot (1:20) 3. Striking with the Arch — “Oblique Kick” (1:46) 4. Striking to the Neck (2:26) 5. Teep Partner Drill to Practice (3:04) 6. Striking with the Toes (4:30) 7. Striking to the Chin (5:48) Get 2-weeks access to our MMA courses & Community: https://ift.tt/1OwBAVf Need some new #boxing gloves?
