More Important Than Power: Maximizing Impact


I'm often asked about how to increase punching power or kick harder, but I've found this to be much more important. Besides, you probably already have plenty of power, but you're just not digging your shots. It's a mix off accuracy and timing -- maximize the impact of your strikes by squeezing your fist (or ankle/foot) in an anatomically correct manner JUST before your strikes hits the target. It's finding that sweet spot of when to stay loose and when to tighten up for impact, and also when to stop extending, stick the shot, and start the reaction. This is explained in detailed in the video, but it takes that 100,000 repetitions to really feel and do it without conscious thought.
