Flat-Footed or On Toes When Kicking?


Should you stay flat-footed or rise up to the ball of your foot when throwing kicks? The answer is, per usual: "it depends!" There are always exceptions to the rule, but being flat-footed is better for balance and support, while being "on the toes" is good for pivoting and agility.
